Photo Shoot, Boys and the Ghetto.

Saturday morning sitting in bed writing for my blog with a cup of coffee next to me.  I have come to a lot of conclusions this week.  Thanks to a few videos on YouTube.  If you don’t respect yourself and go against your morals/beliefs for someone then how can you live with yourself and be happy alone?

Things I loved this week:

Makeup – nothing since I have not worn makeup for the whole of the week.

Skincare – I am currently on my 5th day of Retin-A treatment so sunscreen is my best friend.  You can read about my favorite sunscreens here.

I was on a photo shoot earlier this week and am absolutely amazed/dazed by the end pictures. Here's some of my favourites.

Music – ‘Take Care’ by Drake.  I know I *shake my head* at myself.  Some of my favourites are ‘Doing it wrong’ , ‘Underground Kings’ , ‘Cameras’.  I am usually not one to listen to Drake ect. But his music has been very reflective of my mood lately.  I also enjoy his voice. What can I say.  The ghetto got to me.

I’ve also been obsessed with anything technology related especially mobile phones.  My upgrade is coming in a month and I am planning to get the HTC Sensation XE. I’m so exited by the way.

Things I didn’t like so much this week:

Boys, the fact that I need to start revising for exams and that red mark the wont leave my chin and disappear.

What music have you grown to love?

NO Dry Skin this winter!

So... I havent updated in a long while! Sorry? I've been so busy with college (as usual) its crazy but here's another post inspired by a good friend and fellow blogger!

As the winter is getting closer you might start to come across a few dry spots here or there...I hate dry skin with a passion to be honest I'd rather have my oily skin then have dry, brittle, flaky unatractivness ! erghh.

Here's a few steps to avoid winter dries!

Step 1: Exfoliate

Use an exfoliating brush like the one below from body shop and exfoliate your skin 2-3 times a week if your dry and 3-5 if your oily.
This will get rid off all the dead cells and flakes that collect naturally as your skin cells die off and re-grow!
DO NOT USE EXFOLIATORS WITH BEADS they rip your skin and cause you breakouts no joke!

Use a cream wash or a thick gel with this and make sure your gentle! Don't be scrubbing at your face like it's your heels!

Step 2: Use a daily cleanser that is rich and moiturising no matter what your skin type is .... if you really want to get your skin squeaky clean use castor oil as a cleanser and then apply a hot flannel to your face and steam it until the flannel goes cold.

Good for oily skin:

'Clean&Clear Deep Action Cream Wash for Sensitive skin' I've gone through several of these and love it, it has never broke me out and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth.

Good for more dry skin:

'No7 Hot Cloth cleanser' love this stuff even though I have oily skin most of the cream absoarbs in also leaving smooth and radiant skin

Step 3: use a toner that is alchohol FREE! Harsh toners only strip your skin of it's essential oils and nutrients so use rose water and glycerin instead or even witch hazel if you need one thats a little more invigorating. You can get both of these in Boots near the medical stuff just ask instore.

Step 4: Moisturise like there is no tomorrow! The most essential step. I love a good moisturiser and even though you have oily skin you still need to moisturise and there is a moistuiser out there for you!

For the more oily:

Going through my second bottle and love it leaves your skin soft yet absoarbs super quick and is oil free.

For the dryer skin:

Aalso have used a whole tub of this did not break me out and left my skin really hydrated. It does leave a bit of a slip to your skin so not too great on the oily but still love this!

...and my faviroute of all time!!!!

I do not care what skin type you are extremely oily or extremely dry acne prone or not this is amazing!!!
I am on my third bottle of it and it does wonders for my skin! I always always have a bottle during winter and use this at night before I go to bed!! it does not break you out and does not make your skin more oily !  I LOVE THIS STUFF.

Last but not least eye cream!

I have tried several but this by far is my favorite! And yes I'm only 16 but thats when you should start with eye cream so you prevent any wrinkles because once you have them its way too late!

The Boots 'Time delay wrinkle prevention' eye cream

Key is in the word prevention!

Hope you enjoyed and what skin care products do u love?xx

Keep Your Immune System up!!!

yhyh boring medical stuff coming from me... but its easy and tasty if you like cranberry and blueberry juice! oh and pomegranate...

i personally am an ocean spray girl just because im a sucker for brands but i have tasted cranberry juice from other brands and it didint taste ...right shall i say.  all of these juices are great for getting your antioxidants, vitamin c and other goodies which i dnt remember and im too lazy to go and read the carton.  now if your not the type to care about your inside well then its also all very good for your skin...blueberry is known for its anti ageing and healing properties and cranberry juice will perk up your skin because of all the vitamin c.   so if you dnt care about being healthy then al least think about your skin and to be honest it tastes so good your not exactly missing out.

im not going to go of on a tangent and strart ranting about people who dnt take care of themselves because i dnt wna be pissed off for the rest of the morning lol.  but if u are one of those ppl who think life is too short to look at what you eat do u understand its only gna be shorter if you dnt look????

anyway hope it was usefull xxx

Little Haul

i was in morrisons with my mum jst food shopping and as usual i had to go through the beauty section and i picked up a few things...

so i bought 3 'Nair' hair removal creams the guy at the check out must of been thinking this bitch is hairy... lol... but the only reason i bought 3 is because they were only £1 each!!! rediculously cheap!!!
i was running out of my facial wash which is the tea tree foaming wash from superdrug... so i decided to go for the garnier clean detox which is for normal skin but i thought ill give it a go its a really thick gel. ill do a review once i use it for a few weeks!

What Ruined My Skin

soooo.....i want to personaly kill this product! it ruined my skin and im so devistated(its back to normal now).  its the Clean&Clear Exfoliating Daily Wash! dont buy it it makes ur skin dry ,breaks you out and smells like mens shaving foam. i also finally realised that this was the reason why my skin got really really dry last summer. right now im against all products that have exfoliating beads as they create micro-tears in your skin and carry around bacteria and inforct ur face! instead to fix my skin i have been using the body shop facial brush twice a day it cost £3 and is a good replacement if you are craving a clarasonic!

here's the picture of the devil jst in case!
